“I can’t believe the value for money.  I’ve done so many expensive self-help courses and not only was this far and away the best, it was the cheapest.  You are an inspirational teacher and thank you for all your help”.  JB, Saltdean

When life situations become challenging, it can sometimes be difficult to manage the way you feel and behave in response to it all.  You might find yourself overwhelmed by circumstances or feel powerless to make changes. Often when life becomes difficult we start trying to change the things that can’t be changed. It is important to remember that although you cannot always prevent or change the difficulties that come your way, you can influence the way that you feel and the way you respond.

So, when you gain clear understanding of the some of life’s most disempowering states – stress, anxiety and depression, you will never again feel yourself to be at the mercy of emotional debilitation.

“I attended a “Coaching for Life”  course that Mary ran. This was not the more common “Life Coaching”, but rather a different way of looking at the issues that effect us all in anything we do, be it work or in personal life. The small group (10-12) learnt about how stress affects every thing we do and how it can stop us from reaching our potential as well as other issues we all have to deal with. Mary provided a number of coping strategies for managing this which hit home more clearly than other courses I’ve attended. What was particularly good about the course was how friendly the group were, after eight weeks we were all sorry that it had come to an end – Highly recommended.”  SL – Hove

A Final Word from the Tutor:

Back in 2004, when I had been in private practice for a few short years, I noticed that as clients experienced improvements through therapy, I was having the same ‘maintenance strategies’ conversations with almost everyone. It occurred to me that the simple, straight-forward wisdom in these strategies for wellbeing, would have greater benefit if taught before the need for therapy arises. So, with prevention in mind I put together this course and have been running it 2-3 times a year ever since.  I look forward to welcoming you and your friends in January 2015,
